Here are some samples I created using the Kanban Crafts 'Selection Box', which is a fabulous selection of quality card in a wonderful rainbow of colours. There really is something for everyone and every occasion in this pack. It's ideal for die-cutting, box-making, embossing, punching, inking, gilding, foiling and more. There are colours that are not readily available elsewhere and they are so handy for your stash! I also used Kanban stencils, sentiments and foiled butterflies along with dies, embossing folders, ribbons and gems from my stash.

Fore!
A5 50th birthday card I made for my older brother, using the fabulous male toppers from Acid Drops and Whatnots. I love these toppers, they solve the problem of those 'tricky' male cards! The white background card from Samuel Taylor was embossed using Crafter's Companion Embossalicious 'Argyle' embossing folder. The blue mirror card and black card are by Kanban. I used Robert Addams' All Occasions word die 'brother sister' word set.

O Christmas Tree
Inspired by a design team card I saw in Cardmaking and Papercraft, I made this 6" x 6" square stepper card. I loved the one I saw in the magazine so much that I decided to make my own version of it. I decided that rather than use the larger label die, which would have meant a large amount of mirror card showing, I used a versamark inkpad and inked the edges focal image then dipped it in melt dust and heat embossed it. I think the result is quite effective.
Items used in this project :-
Presscut stepper die

It makes a refreshing change from the usual cars and football that we get for the men in our lives! I don't normally like making cards for men, but I really enjoyed making this card.
