Kanban 'Belle de Fleur' Design Team Samples

As part of the design team for Kanban Crafts, I was super lucky to get my grubby little mitts on the new 'Belle de Fleur' kit, to create samples for the One Day Wonder on Create and Craft, which is on offer until midnight tonight.  I hope you like what you see.  I have absolutely loved using this kit, there is so much in it.  The designs and quality are fantastic and my mind was working overtime with all the things I want to make.  I ran out of time to make everything I want to, but I have no doubt that I will make more with it and I'll share my creations with you.  There's still time to purchase this gorgeous kit at the One Day Wonder price - go on, you know you want to!

I'm doing a happy dance today.  I'm lucky enough to have been selected as one of the new design team members for the wonderful Kanban Crafts.  To say that I'm delighted would be an understatement.

Hydrangea

I haven't posted for a while, so I thought I'd share a card I made for my brother's wedding anniversary.  It's 8" x 8" square.  I hope you like it.

A5 50th birthday card I made for my older brother, using the fabulous male toppers from Acid Drops and Whatnots.  I love these toppers, they solve the problem of those 'tricky' male cards!  The white background card from Samuel Taylor was embossed using Crafter's Companion Embossalicious 'Argyle' embossing folder.  The blue mirror card and black card are by Kanban.  I used Robert Addams' All Occasions word die 'brother sister' word set.

Anniversary

8" by 8" square card that I made for my parents' anniversary.  I used Kanban Language of Flowers toppers and background card.  I love that kit, it's so pretty and feminine.  Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love to prettify things!

O Christmas Tree

Inspired by a design team card I saw in Cardmaking and Papercraft, I made this 6" x 6" square stepper card.  I loved the one I saw in the magazine so much that I decided to make my own version of it.  I decided that rather than use the larger label die, which would have meant a large amount of mirror card showing, I used a versamark inkpad and inked the edges focal image then dipped it in melt dust and heat embossed it.  I think the result is quite effective.
